This hotel is located in the middle of Myeongdeong street where you can buy street food and some souvenirs in the street easily! Just turn left from the hotel, you can find CU Mart first and then you can immediately walk around the street. The hotel also provides self-laundry service with coin: 5,000 KRW for washer and 5,000 KRW for dryer. You need extra 1,000 KRW to buy the detergent packet. The staffs are very friendly and helpful! They can speak and understand English perfectly! Tip for traveling in South Korea: please download Naver Map instead of using the usual Google Map! If you are from Incheon International Airport T1/T2, I suggest you use AREX or Express Railroad to Seoul Station. From Seoul Station (pls make sure the train direction is correct before boarding!), you can get off at Myeongdong Station and use exit 6, but a heads up! You need to walk for 9 minutes or 628m to reach the hotel. Or from Seoul Station, you can get off at City Hall station and then exchange train to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station. Use exit number 5, walk around 5 minutes, and then u can see the hotel. (note: The stations, durations, exit numbers, and walking distance are based on Naver Map and my experience)

I had a wonderful stay at the ibis Ambassador Myeongdong! The location is absolutely perfect—right next to the main shopping street of Myeongdong. It made exploring the vibrant area, shopping, and trying out the amazing street food so easy and convenient. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable retreat after a busy day out. Despite being in such a central location, it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The staff were polite, helpful, and always available to assist with any questions or requests. I didn’t try the breakfast buffet, but with so many fantastic food options just steps away, it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re looking for a hotel with an unbeatable location and excellent service, ibis Ambassador Myeongdong is a great choice. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location in a really lively area. Lots of street food in the night markets around the corner and plenty of shops and cafes. The reception is on the 19th floor and the staff are friendly and efficient and speak good English. There is a free public hotel bath(same as Japanese Onsen)on the 19th floor just ask reception and they will provide you with a key. The Lotte department store is across the road and the food hall in the basement is fantastic and has local and imported food, patisserie and fruit and veg. The 6015 airport limousine bus from incheon stops outside which is great. If you are a keen walker then both the larger palaces and Mt Namsan are easy to walk to. If you want to navigate download Kakao map as Google maps does not work. The hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Best location and not hard on the budget. The airport limo stop Bus No. 6015 from Incheon to Ibis is infront of the hotel which makes it very convenient for us. The convenience stores are a few steps away from the hotel. The Myeongdong street food stores, clothing, skin care, shoe stores etc are on the street next to the hotel. Across from it is the Lotte Dept Store, Lotte Young Store and few blocks away is the Shinshigae Dept Store. The nearest subway station is less than 5 mins away. The bus stop is also just a few steps away from the hotel. Even Namdaemun market was walking distance from the hotel. It saves you also money for transportation as there are a lot of places to go to near the hotel. Staff are helpful and fluent in English.

Our room, though small like most in Korea, was clean and quiet with a modern look and feel. The lobby, bar and breakfast area were on the 19th floor which provided nice views of the surrounding area including the Seoul Tower. The main benefit of Ibis Ambassador was to walk out of the hotel into the amazing Myeongdong neighborhood with incredible shopping and restaurants. Spend one night grazing on the upscale street food. I also recommend a night on the fried chicken street (Chir Chir Chicken was AWESOME), and lunch at the Michelin starred Myeongdong Kyoja. Metro to visit other parts of Seoul & Korea via train is a short walking distance, this is the place to stay.
